En realidad, no es para móviles sino para periodistas móviles, pero nos recuerda mucho la nueva taquigrafía que se utiliza en los mensajes SMS para ahorrar palabras en cada envío.
En el caso de los periodistas, el Instituto ha visto que es de gran utilidad el que se aprenda los principios básicos de la taquigrafía sobre todo para tomar nota pues normalmente resulta que en nuestras libretas debemos anotar muchas veces datos al apuro que después a veces no entendemos.
La taquigrafía salvaría a más de un periodista. Así es que en Cuba, siempre hay un equipo de especialistas en esta materia que toman nota de lo que dice Fidel Castro en cada una de sus presentaciones para pasarlas lo más pronto por escrito. ¿La velocidad? 200 palabras por minuto…
Algo así es lo que las nuevas generaciones han inventado para pasarse mensajes SMS apoyados en los famosos emoticons. Un auténtico nuevo tipo de taquigrafía que los maestros del lenguaje deploran, eso sí, por cómo degradan el castellano.
Ejemplos típicos del nuevo lenguaje SMS:
